Yesterday evening, after turning into our neighborhood, we stumbled upon what I can only call a divine appointment. Someone had put an elliptical machine out by the curb and the sign said, "FREE--Take me home!"
I've been wanting one of these for months. I even went to look at one that someone had for sale, but decided we couldn't spend the money. I've looked on Craigslist and Freecycle, but I could never respond quickly enough. Just recently, I had decided to spend any money I might get for my birthday on a gym membership (instead of for a much-needed haircut or pair of winter boots).
When I saw it, I yelled at Brandon (who was driving), "STOP! IT SAYS FREE!" He was a little put out, and actually asked me if I was serious, but we came home with it.
God has dropped an unexpected blessing in my lap and I'm thankful!

I LOVE the elliptical! It's the only cardio I truly look forward to at the gym! Way to go!
