Baby = Toys!

I'm now in my 23rd week of pregnancy, just a few weeks away from entering the 3rd trimester (depending on what book or website you consult). Miss Anna is moving around a lot now. Her daddy says it feels like a little bump, but to me it feels like I have a kickboxer in my stomach!

One website I use says that her brain is growing rapidly and will continue to do so for the next five years. I am sure this means she will be extrememly intelligent!

It seems we're taking a break from fruits and vegetables this week and moving on to toys! This week, one website says that she is "about the size child’s Nerf football." (Not a very feminine comparison!) Another website says this: "Your baby looks like a tiny, thin newborn. She now weighs close to 1 pound and measures 9 to 10 inches, about the length of a Barbie doll." (That's more girly!) At any rate, I think she kicks pretty hard for being that small!

Whats's bigger than a bread-box, but smaller than a little toe?
STOP talking about my little grand-daughter like some kind of an item for sale on E-bay!
She's a precious little girl growing a little more each day until she's ready to burst forth like the morning sunshine and say, "Gampa? Gampa?
Oh yeh!

So...is her name going to be Anna?

We think that we're going to name her Anna. I just tossed Anna out there one day and Brandon latched on to it even though I wanted to think about some other names. Now he won't hear of calling her anything else. I'm still working on a more interesting middle name--something unique with style! For now, we just joke that her middle name will be banana. :)

Just as long as it's not Janna. Anna-Janna. Even though it rhymes. I know! You should name her Anna Jai Breland. :)

Just kidding! I don't care what you name her, and I'm sure whatever you come up with will be wonderful.

You said, "I just tossed Anna out there one day and Brandon latched on to it even though I wanted to think about some other names. JUST A MINUTE here!!!!
A name is for life!!! Not just something like a "doggy treat" that you "throw" out there and let Brandon "latch" on to like Spike does with an ice cube!
Let's back off a while here. It's NOT too late to go back to a wonderful name she'll respond to with loving excitement, running to jump up on Grandpa's lap. Sarah will thank you for taking the time required for a Mom and Dad, thoughtful enough to give her the name she deserves!

Love you Sarah!!!! Don't worry, I have great faith in your Mom and Dad!
Love Grandpa

I think Anna is a pretty name. I don't have a suggestion on a middle name. A unique name would be Geraldine. Or Zoe so her intials could be AZB.
