First Day of School!
Anna absolutely loves going to "shyoole." She was so excited before her first day, she was dancing around the house saying, "First day of school! First day of school!" over and over. She is so blessed to have awesome teachers--one even sat next to her at nap time and rubbed her back until she fell asleep!
I have to admit that I, too, am loving all things school-related: her cute backpack, getting her lunch ready, dropping her off and picking her up. Since I'm at the church most of the time she's in Mother's Day Out, I even get to see her playing with her new friends, walking to the playground (love the cute rope with handles!), and doing crafts. (In case you're wondering, I'm not just hanging around watching her. I walk my students to and from class--past the playground--and they have cameras in each classroom that I can see as I walk through the hall.)
Here are a couple photos from her first day:

So proud of her backpack!

We're Baaaaaaaaaack!
Hopefully you read the title in that sing-song-y tone I intended it. If not, it may have come across a little weird. And, yes, for the four of you (grandparents, all) that are still checking for an update, we are finally back in the land of the mostly-settled/moved-in/sort-of-back-to-normal!
I still haven't uploaded photos from my camera, (I know, I'm a loser) so I'm going to post a few photos from my fabulous iPhone (that I am still totally in love with).
The Car Series a.k.a She's Gonna Hate Us When She's Older:

How we kept Anna out of the way when we moved:

Cinderelli, Cinderelli...
Dressed up by her cousins (and loving every minute):
At the pool with the cousins:

Rockin' the hat for her birthday:

Yup, my girl turned three last week. More photos (and musings of a city girl living in a small town) to come!

Happy Fathers Day!
What can I say? She's just like her daddy! I love that she's fishing in a skirt and a princess t-shirt.
(Photo taken by Brandon on iPhone)
Happy Fathers Day, Brandon! We love you!

Friday Flashback-UPDATED
This photo is from one year ago, after we went to the Strawberry Festival at a church down the street from our house.
We're planning on going again this year (tomorrow!) and I will be sure to update this post with a photo from this year.

She was able to do a lot more this year and loved the bounce house/slide. She did get her arm painted, but then washed most of it off by splashing in the pool set up for the duck game.

We're moving in a couple weeks, so if posts are slim for a while, it's because I'm up to my eyeballs in boxes and moving stuff. Ugh.
