Anna Turns Two! (part 1)

Anna's Panta and Gigi came to visit the week before her birthday, so of course we celebrated early and then turned it into a week-long, but extremely low-key extravaganza.

Since Anna is allergic to eggs, I had to use a special recipe for her cake. I made this one from scratch (with really good cocoa) and it didn't require any eggs. It was, by the way, super easy and absolutely delicious. I thought about posting the recipe, but I don't feel like getting up and finding it, so if you want it, let me know and I'll email it to you.





(Note to self: Next year, wait until the cake is completely cooled before inserting candles.)
