Anna Turns Two! (part 2)

Uncle Mike sent Anna a special birthday dress up set, complete with crown, earrings, magic wand, and sash. She loved it.

Have you ever seen so many gifts for a two-year old? We had to stretch out the gift opening so she would be able to appreciate each one.

She insisted on wearing her "sparkly shoes."

This Lilly dress was one of her birthday gifts from us.
(Of course, I didn't pay full price!)

Just a little birthday fun...

We let her open a few presents on the night of her actual birthday.

Then, when Brandon was actually able to do a full celebration with us, I made cupcakes. I used a box mix and egg replacer, which didn't turn out that great. The box said that it works best in scratch recipes, so I'll be trying that next time.

We're singing "Happy Birthday" to her. She has continued to ask us to sing this to her. And she has sung it to me a couple times. (Like I need a reminder that my birthday is approaching!)

I just had to get the chocolate mouth.

And then some more present opening.

She loves princesses, and these were no exception. She took them out, one by one, and named the ones she knew.

Brandon helped her get her Dora doll out of the box and she smiled the whole time. She really loves her "baby Dora."

A few days later, we opened the last big gift from Papa and Mimi. Again, naming each one as they came out of the bag.

She hasn't been a baby for quite some time, but now it's official.
She's a "little girl."

I loved every last one of these pictures sweetheart...
Thank you for sharing them with a papa and mimi so far away.
She's growing up faster than I can understand.
What a little dolly... like I remember my Christie!
