Sweetness and a Sniff

A couple weeks ago, I got to take photos of my friend Erin's sweet new baby. He was only one week old and still in that wonderful sleepy newborn phase.



With those long, graceful fingers he'll make a great piano or guitar player. Or possibly something else, but I relate everything to music.


OK, I admit it. When I held this sweet baby, I smelled his head. More than once. I just couldn't help myself. There's something special about the smell of a baby, all fresh with new life and boundless potential.


I would be remiss if I didn't include a photo of big brother M. (You've seen him here before; he is one of Anna's buddies.) I love his big baby blues!
