We have been so busy, I haven't had time to edit photos or even post on the blog the last couple days. Shoot, I'm barely getting my coffee before we have to rush out the door!
Last year, we celebrated my birthday at The Apple Works, an orchard that just happens to hold a Highlander Festival on the weekend closest to my birthday. Brandon was actually able to get this Sunday off (yippee!!!), so this weekend we are heading back to Trafalgar, IN! (Hey, if you can't go to Trafalgar Sq. in London, Trafalgar, IN is the next best thing. I think.) They have more varieties of apples than I can remember and let you sample them to taste the difference. YUM!
After we go, I'll post another photo so you can see how much Anna has grown in a year.

Isn't she so big? It just makes me want to cry! There must be something really interesting to the right, because she was looking that way last year, too. I was going to just crop this photo, but I loved the huge pumpkins on the left, so you get to see both versions--original and crop. Oh, and can you tell I have a super-great camera now (that I didn't have last year?) Just check out the color--I did not edit the color at all!
